PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer or Cheque.
If the booking is made more than 6 weeks before your arrival date a deposit is required of 30% of the total rental fee.
The balance of payment should be received by us not later than 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Failure to do this may be regarded by us as a cancellation by you of your holiday. We therefore reserve the right to re-let the cottage if full payment is not received by this date. Reservations made within six weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
It is recommended that you take out your own holiday cancellation insurance.
In the event of cancellation on the part of the client, refunds of amounts will only be made if the owner is able to re-let the Property and any expenses or losses incurred in doing so will be deducted from any refund. Deposits are non refundable.
In the event that the owners are forced by unforeseen circumstances to cancel a reservation, they undertake to make every effort to secure the rental of a similar property of equal standing, failing this, all monies will be refunded in full.
Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons as stated on the website occupy each cottage.
CHANGE OVER DAY
Change over day is Saturday. Please do not arrive before 4pm and check out is 10.00am.
RESPONSIBILITY
The client undertakes to leave the cottage, its fixtures and furniture in the same good condition as they were found. All accommodation and utensils must be left clean and tidy at the end of the rental period. All damages or breakages are the responsibility of the Client and must be reported immediately so that a cost can be obtained for replacements.
Cloister Park Cottages are non-smoking.
Young children should be supervised at all times.
If you fail to observe our terms and conditions we have the right to terminate your booking, even if you are at the property, by asking you to leave at once without any compensation becoming payable to you. We reserve the right to enter the property at any time should the need arise.
There maybe times when we will need access to the property during your stay for essential maintenance.
PETS
Well behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement only and only one dog per cottage. Please note that dogs cannot be left unattended in the cottages and we kindly ask that you do not allow them on the furniture. The entrance to the property opens on to a road and we also have a rescue cat, so we do ask that you keep your dogs on a lead when in the grounds. Obviously we ask you to ensure you clean up after your dogs too. Thank you.
ELECTRICITY & HEATING
Electricity and heating are included in the rental price.
INSURANCE
Clients are strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party’s personal belongings, public liability, accidents, and damage etc.
We cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
You must be responsible for you and your family’s safety whilst on holiday.
ACCESS
THE SITE
Parking is provided outside the cottages on a private gravel drive. Please be aware that the ground is uneven.
THE COTTAGES
The Stables bedrooms are downstairs and one has a walk in shower, however, there are stairs up to the lounge/kitchen area.
The Coach House has a flight of stairs up to the bedroom which has a walk in shower.
